COOLER WEATHER AT LAST!

We are now getting some cold weather here in Fl.It almost got down to freezing.I covered all the tender plants',then got in the holiday mood and decorated the house and porch.I continue to watch the news-nothing new there so will share another painting with you.This is of Jack.Jack was my husbands' favorite pointer when we used to go to field trials.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

HOT HERE IN FLORIDA

The weather has been hot and it is hard to get in the mood to put up a christmas tree,etc.Don't think I will this year.Did paint the kitchen and did some much needed yard work.We have 5 acres but only live on the front half-still a large yard.I'm still watching the news,still praying for someone honest to show up in our Government.It seems impossible to even start to clean up the mess. I really wish we could kick them ALL out and start new in the new year.Let me hear from you .

A DIFFERENT AMERICA

First I want to thank Bree for the encouraging comment on my last Blog. A little history,I'm 70 years old.I have always been a proud American.We were the BEST! It really sickens me to see the horrible way our Country is being destroyed.I talk to others and they say"You can't do anything about it so why worry about it"In the old days we would be out caring signs!"We really used to do that! We protested!I'd be alone if I did it now. We won battles to.I'm thinking of putting flyer's on cars.I can't find anyone I want to vote for.I wouldn't care if it wasn't my party.I guess this blog is my protest.Until next time.

REALLY FEEL I AM WASTING MY TIME

I'm getting discouraged with taking time to put my thoughts on this Blog.no one ever reads it.Got to be a better way to hear from others on this subject.

WATCHING THE NEWS

Am I the only one noticing how often government departments are being exposed /either they are not doing their job or are crooked.The reports come in but little is done. No wonder we have so many crooks,etc. around us. No one really cares. Our Children are being exposed to so much of this.People used to take great pride in being honest.they were proud to be American and loved this Country.What has gone so wrong? Cheat,cheat whenever you can,lying to get what you want.We have a President who should have been impeached.It will take years to clean up the mess he has made.

HOW FAR ARE THEY GOING TO GO!

Licenses for Illegals?Cities refusing to enforce laws! Everyone in government and those "wantabes" are wanting the Illegal votes so bad they choose to ignore the facts.They don't care what this problem is doing to Us or the Country.I don't even feel like voting. Then ofcourse we have China!!. no one seems' interested in stopping them from sending us dangerous food,toys and drugs.Bush doesn't want to upset them so they can kill or make sick most of us.It is getting very hard to even shop for food.We pay thru the nose to keep all the government programs going.The FDA just gave themselves a big bonus.

WE CAN"T GIVE UP NOW!

I must admit I get very discouraged by what I see on the news,still I think if we protest enough we can change things.first we can demand that the Laws on illegals be enforced The people running for office are so afraid to even touch the issue.They don't want to lose the votes that might possibly come from Illegals.This is discusting.What is wrong with the good old USA?Have we become such a weak, lazy country?We can at least try to buy American made products and food.I'm sick of hearing about the poor illegals.If they had got here the legal way there wouldn't be a problem.The government should shut down every business that hires them.They know what the law is.Food from China is another no brainer.We voted this government in to protect us and our businesses and They are failing.I would love to impeach Bush but I know we would not be better off with the vice president. I really am tired of hearing everyone talking about gay marriage,abortion and religion.These issues come up every election,who cares? I sure don't.I don't care who gets married,what religion someone is and if a woman needs an abortion she has a right to have one.These things shouldn't be all they talk about when our country is going down the drain.Enough said.Hope you will let me know how you feel about these issues.

Another Day of waiting

Well, it's wait,wait,wait!Nothing seems to change.Some trying to sneak in the Immigration bill in parts and pieces.President holding his ground to keep the war going and China still sending bad food,toys,drugs and other things into this Country.We should all demand that we want all those things to be made in America.Open the plants and factories again! Put our people back to work.We could get that done if as a Country we stood together and demanded it.We are like a bunch of sheep.Well, I for one am fed up! Protest,protest! It is a lot of bull that we can't feed our own people or provide them with safe products.We are only as helpless as we choose to be.

ANOTHER DAY

Haven't been on computer for a while.Weather has been to bad here to plug it in.Thunderstorms are often in florida,but usually don't go on for so long.I haven't even worked in the yard.It gets very depressing.I haven't seen anything encourging in the news about the ilegals or the war.hope everyone are keeping up on things.Will have to get off computer very soon-another storm threating.Until next time.Granny

Just killing time

guess today I'm just killing time.I watch the news and there's always something wrong in this Country.It does get discouraging,but I still have to have some hope that things must get better.We already know the president can't be trusted to do anything right.Lets all hope we can pick a new one that is honest,cares about this country and the people.I don't know how that person can even clean up the mess we are now in.Well,happy blogging to all.

WATCHING THE NEWS

Today it was reported on CNN about the bad tires,bad food and bad toys from China broken border where terrorist are coming into this Country.Illegals are working here with false S.S. cards.Congress doesn't want to turn over the money already alloted to fixing the border fence.China raises many of the foods we eat,Ruining the poor growers in this Country.The Illegals are putting our businesses out of business.What is wrong with the Idiots in our Government? The new batch running for president doesn't sound much better.Please contact all or some of them and let them know that we aren't the stupid ones.

TIME OUT

Had to take some time out from my Blog.The weather has been terrible-storms,storms,storms!so couldn't go on line. Living in the country ,now have so much yard work.Also did some painting.Back to subject.I'm very discouraged with the Presidential race.None of them seem to be to interested in doing anything but aid the Illegals.Congress also has the same problem.The Immigration bill died but now they are trying to pass sections of it.Ofcourse our President has things going with the Mexican Government and doesn't have any intention of enforcing the laws to control and protect this Country.Saw on TV where the government has many illegals working for them-(and us).It seems our Government doesn't care about what is best for this country.We aren't protected from deadly human and pet food.Now deadly toys.everyday theres' something new to report on the news thats bad for us.I sure do hate to have to watch what is happening to this great Country.

IMMIGRATION BILL IS DEAD

Thank Goodness, some of our Officals really took time to read the Bill and realized the damage it would do to this Country.It has come out now that the old Immigration bill already provides for passes for workers,fining Businesses that hire illegals and building the border fence.Thousands of workers are here now working with Visia cards.What else do we need? For Officials to enforce the laws.We must demand it !!!

WELL,GUESS IT Is HERE!

I was watching TV late last night and this was on CNN. Theres' a small town in Texas that is all Mexican.The offical language is Spanish.Even the courts,etc. This is a scary thing.We are losing the battle to stay the good old U.S.A. with our offical language being English.I hope more of you will start taking notice and raise some Hell with our Government.

Guess We Will Wait

Guess we will have to wait to see what they will do with the Ammigration Bill.From what I see on CNN theres a lot of flipflopping going on.Think I'll take a few days away from this subject and start a painting.Painting always relaxes me. Not much new

Hi',Not much good news today.Seems Bush and our useless Congress will again try to pass the Immigration Bill.I just want all of you to remember when you could possibly could have made a difference you ignored what is going on in this Country.Hoping some of you got on the ball and tried to stop this Bill and the War.I know it is easier to ignore the whole mess,but in a very few years our Children and Grandchildren will not be living in the good old USA as we know it.big business and Mexico are both driving Bush.I don't know what is driving Congress.Mabe to have the vote of the now Illegals.Bush has sold us out in so many ways.I haven't seen anyone so far that I want to vote in as President.hope some of you are working on the problems we now face.

TIME IS Running OUT

Haven't heard from many of you about the proposed immigration Bill. We must contact our Senators and tell them we don't want it! More problems with it are showing up.The Border fence won't be completed,making it easier for Illegals,drug trafficers and terroist to get here.Over 400,000 guest workers will be allowed in.Illegals already here will have Attorneys(paid by us) to help them become legal.Once legal they can bring inFamily members including in-laws,etc.The bill also wants to encourage higher educated Illegals to come here.guess we don't have U.S. citizens that do office work either.Any of them that speak Spanish/english will get most jobs.what about Our Service men and women who will be returning home.What jobs will be left for them.We have thousands of people out of work here now.Please watch Lou Dobbs on CNN-get the facts.Then contact your Senators,tell them NO to this Bill.

TIME TO TAKE ACTION

We don't have a lot of time before this Immigration bill will be passed.We must write,call or e-mail your Senators.Tell them we should have the vote on this one.It is good to have workers with legal papers to cross our Borders to work.The businesses that hire them must provide housing,health care,etc. They must have health checks when They come over the border to prevent diseases being brought into this country.If they decide to stay here after the work time limit ,they must go thru legal channels.This bill they say will cost Us trillons of dollars and they plan to cut back on many of Our programs that help our own.Doesn't take long to make that call,or send that e-mail.Do watch Lou Dobbs on CNN.

Illegals in The United States

Hi, Joy here,I don't know about the rest of you but I am fed up with The Illegals taking over our Country.For some reason we are caving in to this serious threat-from the President down to us.They take our jobs,are closing hospitals with the free care and ruining our schools.Why should we have to learn Spanish?Why do we have to dial 1 for english when making a phone call?Why have our Officals voted against English being this countries offical language?What are we going to do?
